Brookland, Washington DC

711 Edgewood Street is a 42,000 square foot single-story commercial building on a 53,000 square foot parcel, located between the Rhode Island Metro Station and Brookland in Northeast Washington, DC. The property was acquired in 2004 based on the inherent quality in the real estate and its proximity to Metro. A newly developed pedestrian bridge now connects the Metropolitan Branch Trail to the Rhode Island Avenue Metro station, making the site fully Metro accessible, just a short walk to the train platform. Following acquisition in 2004, the project was leased, gut-rehabbed, and re-developed into a private educational facility. The site is currently under re-development and/or available for lease as of late 2016.
